VCDC has successfully developed two local and one historic equity fund. All three invest in certified historic properties eligible for Virginia’s historic rehabilitation tax credit. A total of 17 of VCDC’s projects received federal and state historic tax credits in order to preserve properties with historic value. These projects consist of residential units, a children’s museum, daycare facility and other facilities designed to provide a variety of community services.
