Development Loans

The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program (LIHTC) facilitates corporate investment in affordable rental housing for qualified households.  This allows VCDC to assist affordable housing developers and project sponsors with a lending arm that provides development loans.  Example uses of loans include carry forward expenses, property acquisition, construction, market studies, appraisals, architectural and engineering fees, application fees and other project development expenses.
